Automation 4 have completed the delivery of a Dynamic Signage solution for the Tyne and Wear Metro System.

Fully Expandable System

At the heart of the system is a central control interface which is used to distribute media and control commands to any number of displays. Further displays at different geographical locations can be configured to connect over a secure internet connection, enabling a cost effective method of expansion whilst retaining the benefit of central control.

Intuitive Media Distribution and Playback Scheduling

To assist the operator, the system allows for the setting up of display groups, which are used to distribute media to common groups of displays. This is a very useful feature within larger systems, especially if displays are located at different geographical locations.

Media can be instantly distributed to selected players, as well as be scheduled to play at defined times and dates. This allows to the operator to schedule media months, and even years in advance, and have the system automatically run with no further interaction.
